Chamber of Commerce honours Effenberg bakery's exemplary mobility concept
The Effenberger Vollkornbäckerei in Hamburg has been awarded the Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 prize for exemplary and environment-friendly mobility based on its use of electric delivery vehicles. The prize, now in its fifth year, was presented Wednesday (October 30, 2019) as part of the “Partnership for Air Quality and Low Pollutant Mobility”.
New mobility concepts for low-emission traffic
“This year’s prize-winner has shown endurance. For decades, it has been committed to environmental compatibility in the mobility sector,” said André Mücke, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, during the ceremony. Its ambitious projects for the use of alternative drives were impressive. The bakery’s clear environment and mobility concept is setting a signal for low-emission mobility.
