Get-together with Marseille and Shanghai

Six start-ups focusing on virtual reality, technology and transport as well as Hamburg’s Digital Hub Logistics are flying the flag for the city at the Viva Technology underway in Paris from May 16-18, 2019. Europe’s key technology event attracts 9,000 start-ups from 125 countries and over 100,000 visitors.

Joint stand “Future Hamburg”

Hamburg and the states of Bavaria and Berlin are hosting the German Tech Hub, initiated by the French-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Dorothee Bär, Minister of State for Digitisation, is due to open the stand. The technology start-up Free Mee, specialising in intelligent WLAN, and Nitrobox GmbH that provides a cloud platform for order-to-cash processes as well as the cyber-security-start-up Tenzir, which specialises in net forensic software, are presenting their companies at a joint stand under the motto Future Hamburg. The Hanseatic delegation also includes NautilusLog GmbH which aims to digtize ships’ logbooks. SpiceVR, which offers drone and virtual reality technology for digital transport concepts as well as Wunder Mobility are also on hand. The Digital Logistics Hub is also represented making Hamburg’s delegation the largest of all three German states.

Pitches and get-togethers with Marseille and Shanghai

The extensive supporting programme includes a matchmaking event with the French bank Bpifrance. Hamburg’s start-ups will also have an opportunity to win the “Most Promising German Start-up” award in different categories. NautilusLog GmbH secured the prize in the mobility category. Existing ties are to be strengthened and new contacts made at a get-together with business delegations from Hamburg’s twin cities of Marseille and Shanghai
