Online Marketing Rockstars 2019

Over 400 exhibitors and 150 master classes during Hamburg's OMR Festival

The third Online Marketing Rockstars (OMR) Festival gets underway in Hamburg on May 7- 8, 2019 and will bring top speakers, hidden champions and top acts in the marketing industry to the fairgrounds. Exhibitors include major players such as Adobe, Google and Facebook, as well as German SMEs and digital start-ups.

OMR Conference

The conference will be the highlight of the festival. Stars in the marketing industry, top managers of international companies and some surprise guests will deliver keynotes on content branding, podcasts or the latest marketing strategies to a 7,000-strong audience. Speakers include Philipp Justus, Vice President Google Central Europe, who will outline how Google’s online ecosystem can work for all stakeholders.

Trends and insight into marketing

During the master classes, practical knowledge of content marketing, e-commerce, social media, videos or programming will be conveyed in 90 minutes Insight. The biggest marketing trends will be explained at the Expo Stage Big Picture, where YouTube, for instance, will talk about how to ideally position video content. The Expo Stage Deep Dive, on the other hand, will recommend action, guidelines, tips and hacks in the live “Style” seminar. A multitude of side events and parties will round off the digital marketing event.

Media Match start-ups at OMR

Apart from established companies, the focus will also be on start-ups and innovations. Next Media Accelerator has selected 50 start-ups to meet media producers and investors from all over the world during the Media Match with the aim of forming partnerships. The presentation of the Future Hamburg Award is among other highlights. The international finalists have the chance to become one of three winning teams to join a tailor-made support programme in Hamburg. A total of 113 start-ups had entered the contest.

OMR on road to success

The two-day event has grown to 50,000 visitors since 2011 making it one of the leading online marketing events. This year, a fourth stage is being added. Organisers have set up so-called theme streams to give visitors an overview.
