Teams participating in the “Content Foresight Mobility” project will present their results in HafenCity on September 5, 2019. The Cross Innovation Hub and nextMedia.Hamburg, both initiatives of the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft, are the brain behind the project. Content and experts in transport and media are developing new concepts and prototypes with a view to the next five to 15 years and are mulling the kind of media content that people will hear, see or read in autonomous vehicles. Other questions focus on undertaking a seamless “content journey” when switching from the subway to a rental bike or from an e-scooter to a shared taxi.
New strategic horizons
Companies are increasingly relying on in-house innovation departments to position themselves strategically for the future. Yet, plans rarely go beyond five years as well as trends and scenarios in their own industry. Enter the Hamburg Kreativgesellschaft’s “Content Foresight” project: Until now, the initiative has brought together diverse firms – from Axel Springer SE, NDR, Hamburger Hochbahn, Wunder Mobility and creative experts to develop future scenarios at the interface of content, mobility, artificial intelligence, blockchain, voice, augmented and virtual reality in a 15-year time span.
Content Foresight Mobility – Play Day
The results of the project lasting several months will be presented in the designxport centre in HafenCity. Keynotes by industrial leaders will be followed by presentations from participants including Axel Springer SE, Hamburger Morgenpost, NDR, pilot Hamburg, Schwan Communications, Hamburger Hochbahn AG, ITS Hamburg 2021, MaibornWolff GmbH, Wunder Mobility and IAV. Delegates will have plenty of time to network afterwards.
